At InHealth, we are offering a rare opportunity to join one of the UK's most respected breast screening services and develop towards becoming a Consultant Mammographer.

Based at the renowned Jarvis Breast Centre in Guildford, you'll join the Surrey & North East Hampshire Breast Screening Service (SNEH BSS), one of the largest breast screening programmes in the country, supporting a population of more than 200,000 women.

This is more than a job. It's a structured development pathway designed to help ambitious Advanced Practitioner Radiographers progress to the highest level of radiographic practice within breast imaging.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Trainee Consultant Mammographer, you'll:

  • Deliver high-quality, patient-centred breast screening services
  • Develop advanced clinical skills across the breast imaging pathway
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team working
  • Contribute to service improvement, audit and quality assurance activities
  • Support the education and development of other imaging professionals
  • Engage in research and evidence-based practice
  • Develop leadership and management skills for future Consultant-level responsibilities

What We're Looking For

Essential

  • BSc Radiography (or equivalent)
  • Current HCPC registration
  • Certificate of Competence in Mammography
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A passion for learning and professional development
  • Commitment to delivering outstanding patient care

Desirable

  • Postgraduate study in breast imaging-related disciplines
  • Research, audit or quality improvement experience
  • Advanced communication training
