At InHealth, finance isn’t just about reporting, it’s about enabling better patient outcomes. As the UK’s largest specialist diagnostics provider, we support over 3,500 colleagues and are on a clear path to serve 7 million patients by 2030.

We’re now looking for an FP&A & Data Insights Manager to elevate how we connect financial performance with operational reality. This is a high-impact role where your insights will directly influence decision-making at the most senior levels of the organisation.

Why this role stands out

  • True business impact – your analysis will shape strategic decisions across a complex, multi-site healthcare environment
  • Data-led transformation – play a key role in building self-serve analytics and a “single source of truth”
  • Executive exposure – deliver insights and narratives that land with senior stakeholders

  • Purpose-driven work – contribute to improving healthcare outcomes across the UK

What you’ll be doing

You’ll lead the FP&A rhythm and turn complex data into clear, actionable insight:

  • Drive planning & forecasting
Build and run rolling forecasts, budgets and long-range plans using driver-based models and scenario analysis
  • Own performance insight
Deliver timely, high-quality reporting (WD5/WD6), with clear commentary, root-cause analysis and actions
  • Create meaningful analytics
Develop KPI frameworks, dashboards and self-serve tools (e.g. Power BI) that link financial outcomes to operational drivers
  • Tell the story behind the numbers
Translate variance into insight, influence decisions, and ensure actions are owned and delivered
  • Strengthen governance & efficiency
Improve planning cycles, reporting timelines, and data integrity through structured processes
  • Support transformation
Contribute to ERP implementation and data architecture, helping build a scalable finance function
  • Partner across the business
Work closely with Finance, Operations, Commercial teams and Execs to drive performance
  • Lead and develop others
Coach and grow a Finance Analyst, building capability in modelling, analytics and stakeholder engagement

What success looks like

  • Improved forecast accuracy across revenue, margin and costs
  • Consistent, on-time delivery of insightful reporting and dashboards
  • Clear, action-oriented performance narratives trusted by senior leaders
  • Faster, more efficient planning and reporting cycles
  • Strong adoption of KPIs and self-serve analytics
  • A confident, capable Finance Analyst progressing under your leadership

What you’ll bring

  • Proven experience in FP&A or Commercial Finance, ideally in a multi-site or services environment
  • Strong financial modelling capability (revenue, margin, opex, cash flow) with scenario analysis
  • Experience building dashboards and insights (Power BI preferred)
  • Ability to translate operational drivers into financial outcomes
  • Track record of improving processes, forecasting accuracy and reporting quality
  • Exposure to finance systems / ERP / data transformation initiatives
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience managing or mentoring analysts

🎓 Qualification: ACA / ACCA / CIMA (or close to qualifying / equivalent experience)

What people value about you

  • You spot patterns early and turn them into practical, commercial insight
  • You communicate complex information simply and clearly
  • You balance attention to detail with big-picture thinking
  • You’re proactive, credible and solutions-focused
  • You enjoy developing others and building capability
  • You’re always looking for smarter, faster, better ways of working
