About the role

Registered Nurse – Endoscopy | Bicester
Full Time | 37.5 Hours per Week | 8:00am - 6:00pm | 4 Days per Week

At InHealth, we're expanding our Endoscopy team and are looking for an experienced and motivated Registered Nurse to join our static site in Bicester. You'll play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care, using a holistic approach that recognises the psychological, physical, and social needs of every patient.

What you'll be doing

  • Supporting patients before, during, and after diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy procedures.
  • Assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating individualised patient care to ensure the highest standards of clinical practice.
  • Supporting the senior clinical team and providing guidance, supervision and training to registered and unregistered colleagues.
  • Participating in the decontamination, traceability and maintenance of endoscopes and specialist equipment.
  • Contributing to clinical audits and continuous service improvement initiatives.
  • Building effective relationships with patients, relatives and multidisciplinary teams to ensure excellent communication and patient experience.

About you

  • Registered Nurse with an active NMC PIN.
  • Experience working within an endoscopy setting.
  • A supportive and reliable team player who contributes positively to the working environment.
  • Able to inspire confidence in patients and colleagues through a professional and approachable manner.
  • Calm, resilient and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexible and adaptable, with a proactive approach to patient care and teamwork.
  • An excellent communicator with strong written, verbal and listening skills.
  • Effective at managing time, prioritising workload and maintaining high standards of care.

* This includes colleagues delivering face to face patient care in the Targeted Lung Health Check mobile units, Endoscopy, AAA Screening, Breast Screening, PET-CT, Audiology, Mobiles, Imaging Centres and CDC’s. Note that this payment is not applicable to clinical staff working within the Echocardiography division, or Diabetic Eye Screening. The Weekend Payment does not apply to those on a flexible working agreement and part time workers that have requested to work weekend hours/days as part of their working agreement. The Weekend Payment also doesn’t apply to those who are working remotely or carrying out administrative work from home.
