About the role

Patient Administrator – Endoscopy

Hours: Full Time, 37.5 hours per week (4 days per week)
Shift Pattern: Between 8:00am and 6:00pm, Monday to Sunday

Are you passionate about delivering outstanding customer service and making a difference to patients' healthcare journeys?

We are looking for a Patient Administrator to join our friendly Endoscopy team in our new CDC in Bristol, Patchway. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment where you will play a vital role in ensuring patients receive a seamless, professional, and compassionate experience from arrival through to discharge.

Working closely with clinical and operational colleagues, you will provide high-quality administrative support and help ensure the smooth running of our endoscopy service.

What You'll Be Doing

Welcoming patients and providing a professional, friendly experience from arrival through to departure.
Managing telephone and face-to-face enquiries, ensuring queries are handled efficiently and appropriately.
Booking and managing appointments in line with clinical priorities and service requirements.
Processing patient payments, invoices, and maintaining accurate patient records.
Supporting the smooth running of the service through administrative tasks, including report distribution and month-end activities.

What We're Looking For

Experience in an administration, customer service, or patient-facing role.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-focused approach.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment.
Confidence using Microsoft Office and other IT systems.
Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team.

Note that this payment is not applicable to clinical staff working within the Echocardiography division, or Diabetic Eye Screening. The Weekend Payment does not apply to those on a flexible working agreement and part time workers that have requested to work weekend hours/days as part of their working agreement. The Weekend Payment also doesn’t apply to those who are working remotely or carrying out administrative work from home.
