At InHealth, we continue to grow our teams and are now looking for a Healthcare Support Worker to join our Endoscopy service. Based at our static site in Braintree, you will play a vital role in delivering high‑quality care using a holistic approach that supports the psychological, physical, and social needs of our patients.


What you’ll do:

  • Welcome patients to the clinic professionally, acting as their advocate to ensure privacy and dignity at all times.
  • Clean, monitor, and organise equipment as directed, reporting any issues or faults to senior staff.
  • Record and relay relevant patient information or observations to senior colleagues.
  • Deliver care in line with the care plan set out by the Senior Nurse.
  • Maintain strong and effective communication with patients, relatives, and the wider multidisciplinary team.
  • Demonstrate a positive, professional attitude, representing InHealth and upholding our commitment to exceptional patient care.

About you:

  • A genuine interest in delivering patient‑centred care, with relevant experience.
  • Good understanding of health and safety protocols and infection control standards.
  • Flexibility to work various shift patterns to meet service needs.
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and maintaining required skills and competencies.
  • Strong time‑management skills and the ability to prioritise workload effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* This includes colleagues delivering face to face patient care in the Targeted Lung Health Check mobile units, Endoscopy, AAA Screening, Breast Screening, PET-CT, Audiology, Mobiles, Imaging Centres and CDC’s. Note that this payment is not applicable to clinical staff working within the Echocardiography division, or Diabetic Eye Screening. The Weekend Payment does not apply to those on a flexible working agreement and part time workers that have requested to work weekend hours/days as part of their working agreement. The Weekend Payment also doesn’t apply to those who are working remotely or carrying out administrative work from home.
