About The Role

Registered Nurse – Endoscopy

📍 Yeovil District Hospital, Higher Kingston, Yeovil, BA21 4AT
🕒 Full Time | 4 Days a Week | 8am–6pm | Flexible Shifts (Monday–Sunday)
💷 Weekend Enhancement: £10/hour (up to £50/day)

We’re excited to be launching a brand new Endoscopy service in Yeovil and are looking for a Registered Nurse with endoscopy experience to join our growing team.

At InHealth, you’ll deliver high-quality care across our mobile Endoscopy sites, using a patient-centred approach that considers the psychological, physical, and social needs of every individual.


What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Supporting patients before, during, and after diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
  • Planning and delivering personalised care programmes to ensure high standards of care
  • Assisting senior clinical staff and supervising other team members
  • Managing the decontamination and traceability of endoscopes and specialised equipment
  • Participating in clinical audits and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Communicating effectively with patients, families, and the wider multidisciplinary team

What We’re Looking For:

  • A Registered Nurse with an active NMC pin and experience in endoscopy is desirable but not essential
  • A supportive team player who brings positivity and reliability to the workplace
  • Someone who inspires confidence and remains calm under pressure
  • Flexible, adaptable, and able to thrive in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent communicator – written, verbal, and a great listener
  • Strong time management and organisational skills

* This includes colleagues delivering face to face patient care in the Targeted Lung Health Check mobile units, Endoscopy, AAA Screening, Breast Screening, PET-CT, Audiology, Mobiles, Imaging Centres and CDC’s. Note that this payment is not applicable to clinical staff working within the Echocardiography division, or Diabetic Eye Screening. The Weekend Payment does not apply to those on a flexible working agreement and part time workers that have requested to work weekend hours/days as part of their working agreement. The Weekend Payment also doesn’t apply to those who are working remotely or carrying out administrative work from home.
