About The Role

Senior Registered Nurse – Endoscopy

Brand New Community Diagnostic Centre – Opening January 2026
📍 Yeovil District Hospital, Higher Kingston, Yeovil, BA21 4AT
🕒 Full Time | 4 days per week | Monday–Sunday | 8am–6pm shifts

We’re expanding our team at InHealth and are looking for an experienced Senior Registered Nurse to join our brand new Endoscopy service in Yeovil.

As a Senior Nurse, you’ll play a vital role in delivering high-quality endoscopy care within our new Community Diagnostic Centre. You’ll lead by example, ensuring our patients receive safe, compassionate, and person-centred care throughout their journey—recognising their psychological, physical, and social needs.


What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Delivering endoscopy services to the highest standards, including pre, peri, and post-procedure care
  • Leading and supporting teams of registered nurses and healthcare assistants, escalating clinical concerns where appropriate
  • Completing competency assessments and supporting staff development
  • Maintaining clear and effective communication with patients, families, and the wider multidisciplinary team
  • Creating a safe and clean care environment, with a strong focus on infection control
  • Managing statutory and mandatory training requirements

What We’re Looking For:

  • A qualified Senior Endoscopy Registered Nurse with an advanced diploma of higher education in Nursing
  • Proven experience in an endoscopy setting and working within a multidisciplinary team
  • A confident communicator – written, verbal, and listening
  • Someone who leads with positivity, builds trust, and inspires confidence
  • Calm under pressure and able to manage challenging situations with professionalism

* This includes colleagues delivering face to face patient care in the Targeted Lung Health Check mobile units, Endoscopy, AAA Screening, Breast Screening, PET-CT, Audiology, Mobiles, Imaging Centres and CDC’s. Note that this payment is not applicable to clinical staff working within the Echocardiography division, or Diabetic Eye Screening. The Weekend Payment does not apply to those on a flexible working agreement and part time workers that have requested to work weekend hours/days as part of their working agreement. The Weekend Payment also doesn’t apply to those who are working remotely or carrying out administrative work from home.
