Hours: Full-time or part-time – flexible working opportunities
Are you an experienced clinical educator with a passion for developing others? Do you thrive on leading teams, inspiring excellence, and shaping the future of clinical training? If so, this could be the perfect role for you.
About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Skills Training Lead to join our dedicated InHealth Learning and Development team. Reporting to the Head of Learning and Development and working closely with the Chief Medical Officer and Chief Nursing Officer, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring our colleagues have the clinical skills and confidence to deliver safe, high-quality care.
This is a leadership role that blends strategy, education, and hands-on delivery. You’ll oversee the planning, design, and implementation of clinical training programmes across the InHealth Group, ensuring they meet the highest standards set by the Core Skills Training Framework (CSTF), Resuscitation Council (UK), and other key bodies.
You’ll also lead and inspire our Clinical Skills Training Team, supporting their growth and ensuring training remains engaging, evidence-based, and impactful.
What you’ll do
-
Lead and manage the Clinical Skills Training team to deliver high-quality education across the UK.
-
Develop and implement a national training calendar and strategy.
-
Design, deliver, and evaluate engaging clinical courses, including resuscitation and mandatory training.
-
Support service improvement through training needs analysis and feedback.
-
Represent Learning & Development at clinical governance and resuscitation committees.
-
Provide expert advice on clinical practice, simulation, and training equipment.
-
Deputise for the Head of Learning and Development as required.
Who you are
You’re a Registered Clinical Professional (Nurse or Allied Health Professional) with significant post-registration experience and a recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, CertEd, ENB 998, ILSi/GIC). You’re confident, innovative, and passionate about developing others, with a track record in delivering clinical education and leading teams.
Ideally, you’ll also be an ALS or EPALS Instructor (Resuscitation Council UK), and you’ll bring a creative approach to simulation-based learning and clinical training.

A natural leader who motivates, inspires and brings out the best in others.
-
A strong communicator who builds trust and collaboration across teams.
-
Someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and embraces innovation.
-
A confident educator who delivers engaging and impactful training.
-
Flexibility to travel to InHealth sites and adapt working hours around training needs.
