We support the NHS with software, triage services, and mobile CT scanning to help detect lung cancer early and save lives.

About the Role

We’re looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented Lung Cancer Screening Support Officer to join our dedicated team. This role is essential in ensuring patient safety across the lung cancer screening pathway through a process known as “failsafe” - making sure no patient is missed or left behind.

What You’ll Do

  • Carry out regular failsafe checks to ensure patient safety across the LCS pathway
  • Monitor patients from invitation through to follow-up or discharge
  • Communicate with clinical teams, GPs, and stakeholders
  • Respond to patient and stakeholder queries via phone, email, and post
  • Maintain accurate records and follow all failsafe procedures

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in a healthcare or patient-facing role is desirable (e.g. GP surgery, care home, hospital)
  • A genuine passion for helping others and making a positive difference
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Understanding of patient confidentiality and data protection (GDPR)
  • Resilience and the ability to remain calm under pressure
