About The Role

Here at InHealth, we are expanding our teams and we have a requirement for a part time  Registered Nurse. You will deliver Endoscopy services for our static site in Braintree to the highest standards, using a model of care that recognises the psychological, physical and social needs of our patients.

This is a part time role working 8am - 6pm / 2 days a week / Flexibility through Monday to Sunday / Weekend rota done on a fair and flexible basis

What you’ll do:

  • Provide assistance pre/during/post diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
  • Assess, plan, develop, implement and evaluate programmes of care for patients to ensure delivery of a high standard of care.
  • Support the senior clinical team, demonstrate procedures to and supervise registered and/or unregistered staff.
  • Participate in the decontamination, traceability and care of endoscopes and other specialised equipment used within the endoscopy unit.
  • Taking part in clinical audits
  • Maintain effective communications with patients, relatives and other members of the multidisciplinary team.

About you:

  • Experienced Registered Nurse with active NMC pin number.
  • A team player who is supportive, reliable and trustworthy, who gets stuck in and creates a positive atmosphere.
  • A person who naturally instils confidence in everyone they work with
  • Calm in challenging situations, working well under pressure.
  • Flexible and adaptable

* This includes colleagues delivering face to face patient care in the Targeted Lung Health Check mobile units, Endoscopy, AAA Screening, Breast Screening, PET-CT, Audiology, Mobiles, Imaging Centres and CDC’s. Note that this payment is not applicable to clinical staff working within the Echocardiography division, or Diabetic Eye Screening. The Weekend Payment does not apply to those on a flexible working agreement and part time workers that have requested to work weekend hours/days as part of their working agreement. The Weekend Payment also doesn’t apply to those who are working remotely or carrying out administrative work from home.
