About the role

Full-time | 37.5 hours per week | 4 days per week
Shifts run between 8am–6pm, with flexibility required Monday to Sunday. Rotas are planned on a fair and flexible basis.

 

At InHealth, our people make a real difference every day. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a Healthcare Support Worker to join our Endoscopy team at our Braintree site. You’ll support patients through their care journey in a role that values compassion, dignity and teamwork.


What you’ll be doing

  • Welcome and support patients, ensuring privacy, dignity and a positive experience throughout their visit
  • Act as a patient advocate and communicate effectively with patients, relatives and the multidisciplinary team
  • Deliver patient care in line with care plans under the guidance of the Senior Nurse
  • Prepare, clean and monitor equipment, reporting any issues to senior staff
  • Accurately record and share relevant patient observations and information

* This includes colleagues delivering face to face patient care in the Targeted Lung Health Check mobile units, Endoscopy, AAA Screening, Breast Screening, PET-CT, Audiology, Mobiles, Imaging Centres and CDC’s. Note that this payment is not applicable to clinical staff working within the Echocardiography division, or Diabetic Eye Screening. The Weekend Payment does not apply to those on a flexible working agreement and part time workers that have requested to work weekend hours/days as part of their working agreement. The Weekend Payment also doesn’t apply to those who are working remotely or carrying out administrative work from home.
