Graduate Apprentice Finance Analyst

This is a full time role with hybrid working. Some travel to sites may be required for key meetings and projects.

As a Graduate Apprentice Finance Analyst, you’ll learn how to turn data from multiple sources into clear, meaningful insights that support better decisions across the business. You’ll build strong analytical foundations, develop your technical skills, and learn how to tell the story behind the numbers.
You’ll be coached throughout your apprenticeship and work closely with finance and operational teams as you grow your confidence and capability.
🔍 What You’ll Do
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting month end, reporting and forecasting activities
- Preparing and checking inputs for dashboards, flashes and KPI packs
- Assisting with budgeting, rolling forecasts and variance analysis
- Analysing data including consolidations, trend analysis and reconciliations
- Using Excel to build models and analysis, with exposure to Power Query and Power BI
- Supporting audit work, business requests and routine finance tasks
- Validating data, flagging issues early and documenting your work clearly
- Collaborating with teammates and supporting each other during busy periods

👤 About You
You’re curious, organised and motivated to learn. You enjoy working with numbers, care about accuracy, and want to build a long term career in Finance.
You’ll bring:
- A degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Maths, Data or a related subject
- Good Excel skills including lookups, pivot tables and basic modelling
- Clear written and verbal communication
- A genuine desire to develop within Finance and work towards a professional qualification such as ACCA or CIMA
- A proactive, collaborative and can do attitude
Nice to have: exposure to Power BI or Power Query, internships or placements, or basic awareness of financial statements and FP&A concepts.
