About The Role

Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 + company car or car allowance
Location: Home-based with national travel | 37.5 hours per week

Are you an experienced PET-CT clinical leader ready to take ownership of services on a national scale?

We’re looking for a PET-CT Services Manager to lead the delivery, development and performance of our static, relocatable and mobile PET-CT services across the UK. This is a senior, high-impact role where clinical credibility, operational excellence and commercial awareness come together to shape outstanding patient-centred services.

Working closely with PET-CT Operational Managers, clinical teams, NHS stakeholders and internal business partners, you’ll set the vision for the division while ensuring services are safe, compliant, efficient and financially strong.

What you’ll be doing

  • Providing visible, credible leadership across all PET-CT services, ensuring consistently high clinical and operational standards

  • Owning performance against KPIs, budgets and contractual requirements, with a strong focus on service quality and patient experience

  • Leading clinical governance, regulatory compliance and audit activity across the division

  • Developing and motivating high-performing multidisciplinary teams across multiple sites

  • Building strong relationships with NHS Trusts, commissioners, private providers and internal stakeholders

  • Supporting service growth and business development opportunities alongside the wider commercial team

What we’re looking for

  • A clinical background in PET-CT, with the confidence and credibility to lead at senior level

  • Proven experience leading complex, multi-site healthcare services across the NHS and independent sector

  • Strong operational and commercial acumen, with experience managing budgets and delivering against financial targets

  • A collaborative, calm and decisive leadership style, particularly in complex or high-pressure environments

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate strategy into practical, deliverable plans

  • Experience working within regulatory frameworks including CQC, IR(ME)R, IRR, ARSAC and related standards

Why join us?

This role offers the opportunity to step into a national leadership position with genuine influence over how PET-CT services are delivered across the UK. You’ll have the autonomy to lead, improve and innovate, while being supported by experienced clinical, operational and commercial teams.

You’ll be trusted to shape services, drive standards and make decisions that directly improve patient experience, clinical quality and service sustainability. With a strong pipeline of service development and growth, this is a role where you can leave a real legacy — not just manage what already exists.

If you’re looking for a position where your clinical expertise is valued, your leadership makes a visible difference, and your voice is heard at senior level, we’d love to hear from you.
